Daniel Ridgeway’s career began at the age of 14 when he started in his first professional kitchen.
Since then, his culinary prowess blossomed, allowing him to work around the world. Daniel worked in Michelin star restaurants in London, and alongside award-winning chefs in Vancouver and Melbourne, before making history as the youngest Executive Chef within the Sofitel brand worldwide.
Over time, Daniel developed his own sought-after flair with food, gaining a myriad of industry recognition and restaurant success beyond his years. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of building his own culinary empire with the opening of Little Truffle Dining Room & Bar in 2010. And the rest is history!
Fast forward to 2021, and Daniel has four successful restaurants under his belt. However, he has found his greatest success in event catering, in which he is swiftly earning an outstanding reputation throughout the Gold Coast and South-East Queensland.
Ridgeway Catering is the preferred catering supplier for a number of event venues, including luxurious The Bower Estate and exquisite Rivermead Estate. In addition, RC is proud to partner with Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, regularly catering for VIP events for luxury brands, including Tag Heuer, Tiffany & Co. and Louis Vuitton.
